some things don't ever change
It has been a while since I've really blogged. Today I started my new (yet somewhat old job). Somethings are the same, some are different. The people are still really cool. I hoping it stays that way.
I took my lunch hour around 12 and met my bestfriend Ang for lunch at a local place called Kings. As we sat there waiting for our food, we talked about old times. She remembered when we use to go to this resturant near her house. We would walk over there (mainly because we were too young to drive). And on the way home, we would always take our cherry cokes as we tried to make each other laugh so hard that we would be forced to spit it out! I always tried to catch her off guard, while she would just say stupid stuff to get me to laugh. As we traveled down memory lane together, we both realized that it felt the same as it did when we were 13! Only, we are in our mid...yes I said MID-twenties. I told her that we will probably feel that way when we reach thirtysomthing too. Only we have a past to talk about now.
It is kinda nice to chat it up with my favorite professor who is like a mom to me. I once wore all black to work/school...or so I thought. This professor then asked me if red is my favorite color. I asked her how she knew...she then pointed to my waist and said, "your flashy red panties tell all!" I about died. Then my face turned the color of my "unmentionables." So, to this day, I get teased for it. So today I gave her a little bit of hell for her dress being too short. Haha, she about kicked me in the butt!
