cloud nine
As it turns out, I attended one of the rehearsals for the gig opportunity that i was given. The piece is really cool. It is the typical mass but with a jazz twist. I've heard the recording and it sounds really cool. I just sorta sat my ass down in the alto section for it.....I think that is because of my viola back ground. I'm so damn excited. I've played in Disney Hall, and now I'm going to sing in it backing the LA Phil! HOT DAMN!!! This has really lit a fire under my ass to practice! I guess the concert is already sold out too. But it isn't a shock because it is a Saturday performance. I tried to get tickets for it but there were none to be had. Shucks! Life is soooooooo good. I'm on cloud nine...and its because of music!

Well, I know I should be charging for this since it's such good information. Actually, you can pick it up about an hour from us up in Palmdale.
