Sleep and holiday festivities

I Slept in!!! No alarm clock at 730! This is going to be a beautiful day. So I'm hopefully going to get my car up and running. It is about damn time. I have to call around to the different car part places...Last I checked I could get the part for like 70 on the internet. I'm sure it will be more though.

So, I love to entertain. I'm debating whether or not to have a holiday gathering at my place. A few years back I had a gathering in early december. It was great, I did the turkey and everyone else brought the side dishes. I remember that I waited until the last minute to buy a turkey and I couldn't get on that wasn't frozen! So I went and bought two big turkeys at that honey baked place. When I got home, I had the pans that I was going to use for what would have been my frozen turkey, so I put the honey baked turkeys in them. Everyone was loving it. They all thought I made the turkey myself...."wow, you are a really good cook!" I still remember them all saying that. Haha Eventually I had to confess. But it was great. I'm not that good of a cook!
