tuesday feels like a saturday

I don't typically care for most of the singers that are around these days. But I do have a thing for Josh Groban. I know I know, but give me a break. His voice is so thick and lush. The first time I actually saw what he looks like I was shocked. I expected some big italian or black guy. He has this voice that doesn't go with his body...skinny white boy and not very good looking might I add. So, I guess he is classically trained. One thing that it took me a long time to realize is that he isn't a very good performer and only has one kind of vibrato. But he can still serenade me any day.

Today started off ok. I was a little cranky for not being able to get my 8 hours of sleep, but I'm ready to start my day. I think I might go practice at the school today. That way I will focus. I'm having lunch with a friend at 11 and from then on I think I might stop by the library and listen to a few recordings. I've been dying to go buy a few orchestral recordings. Mainly because I love to sing along in an operatic voice....ok, I guess I shouldn't have admited that.

I missed my 7 mile run last night. So I have to make it up tonight. Absolutely no excuses!
